FCC ULS Browser Woes

FIT's crack staff has been hard at work putting the FCC's online filing interface through its paces. We have discovered some problems with various browsers. When using Netscape 4.7 we noticed that the FCC's form will load, but locks up if you try and advance to another page. We've tried various versions of Microsoft internet explorer. The form loads ok but do not try and do a "print preview". The FCC generates a .pdf file to preview the application online. We never got it to load properly and when we disabled the "popup blocker" in the latest version of Explorer we keep getting server errors.

The only browser that seemed to function well with the ULS online filing system was Firefox. Not only were we able to fill in all of the necessary data for form 601, but also successfully viewed our application in "print preview" mode. Firefox gets our official seal of approval.
